Antonio National Park
Manuel Antonio contains a charming combination of
majestic rain forest, the most beautiful beaches and
coral reefs. The forested hillsides are home to many
of the animals, plants and flowers that are Costa
Rica's unique attractions: monkeys, sloths, iguanas,
toucans and scarlet macaws.
The volcanic-sedimentary cliffs rise steeply from
the shoreline, providing scenic vistas and hiking
trails.
There are several islands within the park’s
boundaries that serve as important nesting grounds
for birds like the brown booby, frigate bird and anhinga.
The shores are also occasional nesting grounds for
Olive Ridley and Pacific green turtles.

Arenal
Volcano and Hot Springs
Arenal Volcano is one of the ten most active volcanoes
in the world. The trip will take you to the Central
Valley around the Central Volcanic Mountain Range,
passing through peaceful towns, beautiful landscapes
and rain forest, the gorgeous views will make the
road very pleasant.
Once in La Fortuna, town of the majestic Arenal Volcano,
you will enjoy the wonderful lush gardens and hot
springs.
Arenal Volcano is famous for its incredible eruptions,
lava flow, streams and incandescent rock explosions.

Waterfall Horse Back Riding
Plummeting from the cliffs deep in the jungle, the
Bijagual waterfalls await to be discovered by explorers
willing to take the challenge and extract its secrets.
Travel a country gravel road and enjoy the wonderful
views of the Pacific Ocean.
After
the scenic drive, continue on horseback to access
this magical place, then a trail will lead you down
to the waterfalls. Explorers will experience the pleasure
of nature with a plunge into the pristine pools at
the base of the waterfalls.

Carara Biological Reserve
The importance of this Biological Reserve is its geographical
location, between the Tropical Dry Forest of the north region
of the Pacific and the Humid Rain Forest of the south; it
is a transitional forest with flora and fauna from both
ecosystems.
Carara is a favorite for bird watchers. The park is the
ideal environment for an enormous wildlife as the scarlet
macaw, toucans, wood peckers, monkeys, herons and many more.
Note: an early morning departure is better for bird’s
observation.

Poas
Volcano and Oxcart Factory
The Volcan Poas National Park is one of the most visited
protected areas in the country. The ride there is scenic
and pleasant, coffee and ferns plantations, dairy farms
and gorgeous views.
The Poas Volcano features two impressive craters. One active
and holds a crater lake. Our guide will take you on a hike
to see the 4331 ft. wide active crater.
There are 79 species of birds in this park, including the
robin, the hummingbird and the spectacular quetzal. If you
see a green-yellow squirrel, take a good look at it, it’s
only found in this park, and nowhere else in the whole world!
On the way back you will visit Sarchi, known as the Oxcart
land, cradle of the Costa Rican artisan work, a great opportunity
to buy souvenirs.

Monteverde
Cloud Forest
Monteverde is the biggest cloud forest of all Central America.
In this rainforest are found more than 100 species of mammals
including 5 species of cats, over 400 species of birds including
30 kinds of hummingbirds, tens of thousands of insect species
(over 5000 species of moths) and 2,500 species of plants
(420 kinds of orchids)
The area is acclaimed as one of the most outstanding wildlife
refuges in the New World Tropics. Monteverde rainforests
have majestically tall trees festooned with orchids, bromeliads,
ferns, vines, and mosses.
You can enjoy the magnificent views from the top of the
trees, on the zip line (canopy tour) or suspended bridges.
